Co-hosts Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt start off a special UK Open preview show by discussing the news that defending champion Gary Anderson will be making his first appearance of the season at Minehead this weekend. The team pick out players from outside the top 16 who could have a big run in the 'FA Cup of Darts' as well as highlighting the first session games they are most looking forward to. Then, Matthew Kiernan, The Darting Nerd, brings us interviews with Riley's London Victoria qualifier winner Rob Collins and ITV reporter Ned Boulting, who also competed in the qualifier (13:52). Next, the team discuss whether former tour card holders should be allowed to play in the Riley's qualifiers for the UK Open, and then pick out players from the Challenge Tour Order of Merit and Riley's qualifiers to watch out for in Minehead. After that, hot prospect Callan Rydz calls in to look ahead to playing in his first PDC major this weekend, narrowly missing out on a tour card at Q-School in each of the last two years, and his plans for the rest of 2019 (28:24). The team finish off by predicting who will be crowned 2019 UK Open champion on Sunday.
