Co-hosts Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are back with a new episode ahead of the European Championship.

The boys look ahead to the latest major on the PDC calendar and pick which of the four quarters of the draw is the toughest to call, plus discuss defending champion Ross Smith's chances of retaining the title.

Alex and Burton also take a look back at last week's block of four Players Championship events and pick out their big talking points from the action, and also discuss Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall's chances of making the Players Championship Finals now with two events left to go.

Ross Smith (16:10) calls in ahead of the defence of his European Championship title and reflects on the last 12 months since his memorable first major success in Dortmund. Ross chats about his route back to this year's tournament, starting with the European Tour qualifiers at the start of the year, winning the last Players Championship of last week's block of events in the lead-up to his title defence, and his targets for the rest of 2023.

James Walton (48:39) also joins us to talk about the upcoming release of his new book 'Every Neet o' Week' - his debut novella based on a story about darts. James discusses where the idea of the book came from, his background in writing and why darts fans should pick up a copy.

Every Neet o' Week by James Walton is available for pre-order here and is published on November 11. Check the Weekly Dartscast's social media channels to find out how you can win a copy of the book!
